G Plan runs 'Sit Test Live' event at Trafford Centre, Manchester

G Plan ran its first 'experiential' marketing event at the Trafford Shopping Centre in early April. The 'Sit Test Live' event saw the team take a range of sofas to this busy mall and film visitors enjoying the unparalleled comfort of G Plan products. The objective of the event was to help drive brand awareness and to help people understand the importance of comfort. It proved very successful with the Manchester public showing no shyness in front of the camera!!

To promote the event, G Plan used social media techniques for the first time adopting both Facebook and Twitter to raise awareness of the event and engage potential consumers in a debate about comfort. The result can be viewed on YouTube
